Answer: 177.6 days (178 days)
96% of 185 = 0.96 × 185 = 177.6, which rounds to 178 days. Pupils must attend at least 178 days.
Arrange these fractions in ascending order: 3/4, 2/3, 5/6, 7/12
Answer: 7/12, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6
Converting to twelfths: 7/12, 8/12, 9/12, 10/12 — so the order is 7/12, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6.

VAT = 20% of £84 = £16.80. Total = £84 + £16.80 = £100.80.
If a pupil scores 63 out of 90 on a test, what is their percentage score?
Answer: 70%
63 ÷ 90 = 0.7 = 70%. Alternatively, simplify 63/90 to 7/10 = 70%.
What is 2/5 + 3/4?
Answer: 23/20
Common denominator is 20: 2/5 = 8/20, 3/4 = 15/20. Sum = 23/20 = 1 3/20.
