A car uses 8 liters of fuel per 100 km. If the fuel tank holds 56 liters, how far can the car travel on a full tank?

Three partners invest $5,000, $8,000, and $12,000 in a business. If the profit is $50,000, how much does the partner who invested $8,000 receive if profits are split proportionally?
Answer: $16,000
Total investment = $25,000. The $8,000 partner's share = 8,000/25,000 = 0.32. Profit share = 0.32 × $50,000 = $16,000.
