A rectangle has a perimeter of 56 cm and a width of 10 cm. What is its area?
Answer: 160 cm²
Length = (56/2) − 10 = 16 cm; area = 16 × 10 = 160 cm².
If a solution is diluted from 500 mL at 40% to a new volume with a final concentration of 10%, what is the new volume?
Answer: 2,000 mL
C₁V₁ = C₂V₂ → 40 × 500 = 10 × V₂ → V₂ = 2,000 mL.
