What does a white dashed line between lanes on a New Zealand road indicate?
Answer: You may cross it to change lanes when safe
A white dashed line separates lanes travelling in the same direction and may be crossed when it is safe to change lanes.
You need to exit a motorway on the left but you are in the right lane. When should you begin moving to the left lane?
Answer: Well before your exit, signalling and changing lanes one at a time
