A price increases from $80 to $92. What is the percentage increase?
Answer: 15%
Increase = 92 - 80 = 12. Percentage = 12/80 × 100 = 15%.
Convert 7/16 to a decimal.
Answer: 0.4375
7 ÷ 16 = 0.4375.
What is 12.5% of 360?
Answer: 45
12.5% = 1/8. 360 ÷ 8 = 45.
