Answer: $15K
The value $15K appears twice, more than any other, so it is the mode.
A line graph shows distance versus time: a car travels 180 miles in 3 hours at constant speed. How far does it travel in 5 hours?
Answer: 300 miles
Speed = 60 mph, so in 5 hours it travels 60 × 5 = 300 miles.
A table shows a recipe ratio of flour to sugar of 3:2. A baker uses 450g of flour. How much sugar is needed?
Answer: 300g
Each ratio part = 450/3 = 150g, so sugar = 2 × 150 = 300g.
A histogram shows ages grouped: 20-29 (4 people), 30-39 (10 people), 40-49 (6 people). Which interval contains the median age?
Answer: 30-39
With 20 people, the 10th and 11th values both fall in the 30-39 group (positions 5-14).
A bar graph shows revenue of $50K in Year 1 and $45K in Year 2. What is the percent decrease?
Answer: 10%
Decrease = $5K/$50K = 10%.
A scatterplot's trend line passes through (2, 8) and (6, 20). What is the slope of the line?

Slope = (20 - 8)/(6 - 2) = 12/4 = 3.
