  1. A clock shows 3:15. What is the angle between the hour and minute hands?

    Answer: 7.5°

    At 3:15, minute hand is at 90°; hour hand is at 90+15×0.5=97.5°; angle=97.5−90=7.5°.

  2. Find the odd one out: 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17.

    Answer: 15

    15 = 3×5 is composite; all others (3,5,7,11,13,17) are prime numbers.

  3. A sum doubles in 5 years at simple interest. In how many years will it become 4 times?

    Answer: 15 years

  6. If 6 men can complete a job in 8 days working 10 hours a day, how many days will 4 men take working 12 hours a day?

    Answer: 10 days

    Answer: ETAG
