Anyone else struggling with the Skills Competency Tests? Need advice badly
So I've been prepping for the Skills Competency Tests for about three weeks now and honestly I'm kind of lost. My employer requires this certification by the end of next month and I feel like I'm not making progress fast enough. I picked up a study guide from the library but it feels pretty dry and I'm not sure it's covering the right material.
The hardest part for me is the applied knowledge sections — I can memorize definitions okay but when it gets into scenario-based questions I freeze up. I've been doing maybe 90 minutes of studying each night after work, which I know isn't tons of time. Has anyone else been in this situation and actually passed? I'd love to know what resources actually moved the needle for you.
I found a SKILLS COMPETENCY TESTS practice test online that seemed decent but I'm not sure if the question style matched the real thing. Would really appreciate any exam tips from people who've been through it recently. What score did you aim for and how far out did you start drilling practice questions?
