Does the ACC airline exam actually test GDS systems like Sabre or Amadeus?
I'm preparing for the airline customer service certification exam and I can't get a straight answer on how deep it goes into GDS platforms. My current role uses Sabre, but I've heard some airlines have shifted to Amadeus or even in-house systems. Does the ACC test system-specific workflows, or does it focus on general airline customer service exam concepts?
I don't want to over-invest time in Sabre-specific keystrokes if the exam tests conceptual ticketing and reservation knowledge instead. The ACC airline customer service practice tests I've been using seem to focus on principles rather than specific GDS commands, which would be a relief.
Anyone who has sat the exam recently — was there meaningful GDS content, and if so, which platform did it reference?
The exam doesn't test platform-specific keystrokes — it focuses on reservation concepts, fare rules, and customer handling principles that apply regardless of which GDS you use. That said, understanding how PNRs are structured and how fare classes work will definitely help. Think "what should happen" rather than "which button do I press."

If you can read a fare basis code and understand the restrictions it implies, you're well prepared for that module.
