The CFC certification from the National Association of Forensic Counselors (NAFC) validates competency in assessing and treating criminal offenders across mental health, criminal justice, addictions, and corrections settings. The exam covers five domains: clinical assessment and treatment planning, counseling and case management, psychosocial dynamics of criminal behavior and substance abuse, criminal justice processes, and legal/ethical/professional responsibility.
