Answer: 30 L
250 ÷ 100 × 12 = 30 litres.
A training exercise lasts 4.5 hours. If it starts at 06:15, when does it end?
Answer: 10:45
06:15 + 4 hours = 10:15; 10:15 + 30 min = 10:45.
A squad of 8 soldiers shares 56 ration packs equally. How many does each soldier receive?
Answer: 7
56 ÷ 8 = 7 packs per soldier.
What is 2/5 expressed as a percentage?
Answer: 40%
2 ÷ 5 = 0.40, which equals 40%.
A repair job takes 3 technicians 6 hours. How long would it take 9 technicians working at the same rate?
Answer: 2 hours
Total work = 3 × 6 = 18 man-hours; 18 ÷ 9 = 2 hours.
An ammunition crate weighs 18 kg. A transport can carry 270 kg. How many full crates can it carry?
Answer: 15
270 ÷ 18 = 15 crates.
What number is 35 more than the product of 8 and 7?
