California Acupuncture Licensing Examination (CALE)
The CALE is California's state licensing exam for entry-level acupuncturists, testing competency across patient assessment, TCM diagnosis, acupuncture treatment, herbal medicine prescription, and public health and safety regulations. Passing is required to obtain the California Acupuncturist (CAc) license.
