OAR — The Officer Aptitude Rating (OAR) is a composite score derived from three subtests of the U.S. Navy's Aviation Selection Test Battery, 5th Edition (ASTB-E) — Math Skills Test, Reading Skills Test, and Mechanical Comprehension Test — used to screen candidates for Surface Warfare, Submarine, and other non-aviation officer programs; scores range from 20 to 80.
