Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination — The MBLEx is administered by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (FSMTB); it consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, has a 2-hour time limit, and requires a scaled passing score of 630 out of 800, covering six content domains: body systems/anatomy/physiology/kinesiology, pathology/contraindications/special populations, benefits and physiological effects of soft tissue techniques, client assessment and treatment planning, ethics/boundaries/laws/regulations, and guidelines for professional practice.
